DSAM – Standard Bearer of Ethical Direct Selling
Founded in 1978, the Direct Selling Association of Malaysia (DSAM) is a national trade association aimed at promoting the direct selling industry as well as act as the de facto voice of the industry. DSAM is deeply committed to fair and ethical direct sales practices in the marketplace. DSAM believes in self-regulation and to inculcate the spirit and practice of ethical direct selling within its member companies, DSAM has adopted a stringent Code of Conduct by which member companies are to adhere to in every aspect of their business.
Shaklee – A Leading Member
Shaklee joined the Direct Selling Association of Malaysia in 1995 and is committed to the ethical business practices and consumer services. The DSAM Code of Conduct provides a framework for conduct towards consumers and direct sellers; conduct between direct selling companies and code enforcement. It ensures that member companies, such as Shaklee, will make no statements or promises that might mislead either consumers or prospective sales people.
